Cyber Safety Rules!

It's never too early to start.

At our school, we teach cyber-safety in our classrooms and in our computer lab. We learn from Clicky at Netsmartz.org how to be safe online and off! You can watch our lessons, too, from our Digital Eagles website.

 Clicky says:

Be safer online and offline too.
Check first.
Take a friend.
Tell people NO!
Tell a trusted adult.
And I'm ready to go.

The sixth grade students introduced the fifth grade students to using Google Apps and to being safe online.  You can practice learning Netiquette Rules with this study card set.

Below are some of the Google Apps teaching slides created by grade six students. What do you think? They sat beside the fifth grade and helped them learn how to use Google Apps.

Here are pictures of the students working together, sixth grade teaching grade five:

We are digital citizens, helping the world be a better, more connected space to help each other.
